About the Authors
Gretchen Rowe is a research associate with the Urban Institute’s Income and Benefits Policy Center. Her research has focused on a variety of issues related to the TANF and Food Stamp programs. Currently, she manages the collection and analysis of data for the Welfare Rules Database, which tracks AFDC/TANF policy across states and time.
Mary Murphy is a research assistant with the Urban Institute’s Income and Benefits Policy Center. Along with maintaining the Welfare Rules Database, her work has focused on a range of issues that relate to TANF policy.
Meghan Williamson was a research assistant with the Urban Institute’s Income and Benefits Policy Center. Her work included maintaining the Welfare Rules Database and contributing to the development of the TRIM3 microsimulation model.
