Performer list:

  • Jose Chavez, an 18-year-old painter from Cuba, will contribute 7 to 8 pieces for the art show and library displays. Most of the pieces are larger in scope.
  • A group of young Nepalese dancers will perform with two lead dancers, Puja Regmi and Ganga Tamang.
  • San Marco and Mandarin Library will have displays in their locations (including tables with recommended readings about refugees).
  • Participation from the Mayor’s Hispanic American Advisory Board.
  • Students from Episcopal High School will run a soccer clinic.
  • Seeking adult Chin performers to teach the bamboo dance to children (Peter).

There will also be a Naturalization Ceremony at 11 AM at the Main Library, 303 North Laura street, Jacksonville, FL 32202.
