Tucson World Refugee Day Celebration and Citizenship Ceremony
Catalina Magnet High School Auditorium, Tucson, Arizona
The Tucson World Refugee Day event will bring together refugees and local community members to celebrate the accomplishments of refugee youth. The event will feature cultural performances by refugee youth, as well as speeches by the Tucson Unified School District Superintendent, other Tucson dignitaries, and Charles Shipman, State Refugee Coordinator. A special Naturalization Ceremony for refugee youth will take place at 11 AM. The event is free and open to the public.
