SUBJECT: Notice of FY 2002 Proposed Social Service Allocations
Enclosed is the Proposed Notice of Allocations to States of FY 2002 Funds for Refugee Social Services published on April 9, 2002 (67 FR 17079-17082).
Comments on the proposed notice must be received by the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) in writing by close of business on May 9, 2002. We suggest that comments be faxed to Barbara Chesnik at (202) 401-0981 or (202) 401-5487.
This notice invites States that desire an adjustment to the State's three-year population to submit certain data on asylees and victims of a severe form of trafficking who have been provided assistance and/or services, in addition to refugee secondary migrants.
