SUBJECT: Refugee School Impact Grants
Attached please find the FY 2005 Refugee School Impact Program Announcement. These discretionary funds are intended to alleviate the cost associated with educating refugee children in local school districts. Since states are the only potential applicants, ORR is mailing this announcement to the states as well as publishing it on the ORR website at http://www.acf.hhs.gov/programs/orr. This announcement will not be published in the Federal Register.
The application deadline is June 16, 2005. All applications must be delivered or postmarked on or before that date in order to be considered eligible.
