SUBJECT: Updated Refugee Health Guidelines - Domestic Malaria Guidelines for Arriving Refugees

The ACF Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) Medical Screening Protocol Work Group has completed work on the first set of Center for Disease Control (CDC) refugee health guidelines with the assistance of Dr. William Stauffer, Technical Consultant to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention.

This first completed section of the Protocol for Domestic Guidelines for the “Presumptive Treatment of P. falciparum in Refugees relocating from sub-Saharan Africa to the United States” is available on both the ORR and the CDC websites.

It is posted on the CDC website at:
