SUBJECT: Notice of Final FY 2009 Formula Allocation for Targeted Assistance Grants to States for Services to Refugees
Attached please find the Notice of Final FY 2009 Formula Allocation for Targeted Assistance Grants to States for Services to Refugees. This year, the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) is posting only a Notice of Final Targeted Assistance Grants, instead of both a proposed and final notice. The purpose of this change is to expedite the award of these grants.
Please note that the due date for submission of assurances is Friday, August 7. The Notice includes detailed information on what must be included in the submission of assurances. Please mail your assurances submission to your State Analyst for review and approval. Grants will be awarded after your assurances have been received and approved.
