Supplemental Services

This program terminated as of February 28, 2014. This is a historical document. Use for research and reference purposes only.

The Supplemental Services Program provides additional resources to communities where refugee services are insufficient. When a community experiences a sudden and unexpected migration of refugees, supplemental services programs provide funding for culturally appropriate services. Due to the immediacy of arrivals and their need for assistance, funding is intended to enhance the allocation of social services within the state.
