Invisible No More: CT Forum on Runaway and Homeless Youth
The Reaching Home Campaign is hosting a sesson on runaway and homeless youth to release CT's first study and comprehensive report on runaway and homeless youth; share the national context; and engage youth and critical state partners on the issue. This event is co-sponsored by the State of CT's Joint Committees on Housing, Children, Human Services, Education and Public Health.
Reaching Home is focused on ending homelessnes among youth as part of its effort to implement Opening Doors-CT, the state's blueprint for ending homelessness. These youth are at increased risk for sexual abuse, prostitution, physical abuse, criminal justice involvement, illness, mental health and substance abuse.
