Healthy marriage and relationships projects (HMI) of the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) seek to support the well-being of individuals, couples, families and children. Projects in Massachusetts, Maine, Vermont and Connecticut are funded by the ACF Offices of Child Support Enforcement, Refugee Resettlement, Family Assistance, Children’s Bureau and Head Start. These programs engage participants in skills-based education to strengthen relationships, reduce conflict, improve problem-solving and teach foundational skills that support healthy marriages, couple and family relationships.
Visit the Healthy Marriage Initiative website for more information on current ACF funding for healthy marriage, technical assistance, results of research and descriptions of effective marriage and family programs: Primary Regional Healthy Marriage contact: Josephine Hauer, Ed.D.
