National Reporting System Updates
Fall 2006 HSNRS Assessment Easels
The easels will be shipped to all programs on the US mainland throughout August.
Interim Reports available online
Head Start National Reporting System (HSNRS) Interim reports are available online via the Computer-Based Reporting System (CBRS) to the more than 1,500 programs that submitted their Spring 2006 HSNRS answer forms on time.
Social-Emotional Development Ratings
Beginning in fall 2006, the HSNRS will include teacher ratings of children’s social-emotional development. The social-emotional rating scale has been constructed based on results from the spring 2006 field test. This scale, requiring about seven minutes for teachers to complete per child, includes measure of children's "Approaches to Learning," "Cooperative Classroom Behavior," and "Behavior Problems." These rating forms will be mailed to programs later this summer.
