It is frequently stated that actively involved fathers are a positive force in the lives of their children and their communities. Dad’s Take Your Child to School is an annual event held in New York to promote responsible fatherhood and male engagement. Dad’s Take Your Child to School encourages fathers, stepfathers, foster fathers, grandfathers, uncles, brothers, godfathers and other significant male caregivers to take their children to school or Head Start program.
