ACF Region III Head Start/Fatherhood Monthly Conference Call Date and Location: October 1, 2009
Sponsor: Administration for Children and Families
Purpose: The conference call series provides a forum for Head Start parents, Policy Council and Board Members, Program Directors and staff to learn and share fatherhood/Male Involvement programming strategies and additional information on related topics.
Audience: ACF Head Start Program Directors, Staff, Parents, Policy Council, and Board Members; fatherhood programs and practitioners.
 
Grant Writing 2009 Capacity Building Series Date and Location October 6-7, 2009
Sponsor Administration for Children and Families, HUD, MD Department of Human Resources
Purpose Assist faith based and community-based organizations who have the capacity and are looking to apply for federal and non federal grants as either a grantee or sub-grantee as well as provide insight into the Federal grant application process
Audience Organization directors, Board members, grant-writing staff
