Summit on Hispanic Children, Families, and Communities
On May 9, 2013, Region IV Immediate Office of the Regional Administrator and ACF Regional Office of Child Support facilitated a local Hispanic Coalition in Miami, Florida designed the Summit on Hispanic Children , Families, and Communities in Miami Dade County. The event focused on improving outcomes for children and families in the areas of Family Safety; Early Childhood Development; Health and Wellness; Behavioral and Emotional Health; and Education and Career Pathways. The Summit was held at Miami Dade College, InterAmerican Campus with approximately 200 attendees. The Deputy Assistant Secretary and Inter-Departmental Liaison for Early Childhood Development provided the keynote address.
