Asthma Resource Toolkit - Starter Guide
ACF's Region IV developed the Asthma Resource Toolkit- Starter Guide, in partnership with the southeast regional office of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency through a demonstration pilot in two targeted Georgia counties (Bibb and Lowndes). The Toolkit was designed to:
- increase awareness and educate pre-school staff and families about environmental health risk factors to young children; and
- facilitate access to resources that could be integrated easily into ongoing program activities.
The Toolkit has been widely disseminated across the country and rolled out as a national model by Secretaries of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
