National ACF Hispanic Roundtable

More than 40 leaders sitting in the White House's Indian Treaty Room to meet with HHS and ACF officials.On Tuesday April 23rd, 2013, Deputy Regional Administrator, Kathie Gray, along with colleague Erica Fleischer traveled to Washington D.C. for the National ACF Hispanic RoundtableHeld at the White House Eisenhower Executive Office Building (EEOB), ACF staff met with 40 Latino leaders from around the country.

This Roundtable was attended and hosted by Julie Chavez Rodriguez, granddaughter of American farm worker, labor leader, and civil rights activist, Cesar Chavez.

The Roundtable featured discussions on topics such as Fatherhood and Healthy Marriages, Asset Building and Financial Literacy and Early Childhood Development.  This meeting was part of ACF’s Hispanic Outreach Initiative and ACF welcomes the continued input and involvement of the Hispanic community.
