Dear Colleagues:
The Office of Community Services (OCS) is pleased to announce an upcoming post-expenditure report virtual training webinar for the Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) and the Consolidated Block Grant (CBG) programs for the federal fiscal year (FFY) 2024.
States and territories receiving SSBG funds are required to submit an annual Post-Expenditure Report within six months of the close of each annual reporting period. This report details the actual expenditures (use) of SSBG funds across 29 pre-defined service categories during the fiscal year, including the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) transfer, and the individuals served. This data is crucial for informing budget decisions and national policymaking.
To support you in this process, OCS/Division of Social Services (DSS) will host a virtual training webinar on Thursday, March 7, 2024 (3:30pm-4:30pm ET). During the webinar, DSS staff will provide an overview of the Post-Expenditure Report form and address live audience questions.
The webinar session will be recorded and made available along with presentation slides, in the ’Resources’ section of the SSBG Portal. Please register in advance here: SSBG Post-Expenditure Report Virtual Training Webinar.
Thank you and we look forward to continuing to provide quality services to states, territories, and communities.
