Travis Roberts

Project Consultant

Travis Roberts is a Project Consultant in the Office of the Commissioner, where he supports the Commissioner through research and writing while helping to coordinate projects within ANA and between ANA and other federal agencies, tribes, and community organizations. In addition, Travis leads the ACF Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons Communications team and supports Operation Lady Justice, the Presidential Task Force on Missing and Murdered American Indians and Alaska Natives. 

Before coming to ANA, Travis’s professional experience focused on violence prevention and mental health. He has served as a social worker for survivors of torture, and a researcher, data analyst, and research coordinator for projects focused on child abuse prevention, suicide prevention, gender-based violence, and community violence against children in Central America. He has a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Maryland, Baltimore and a Master’s in Public Health with certificates in Humanitarian Health and Public Mental Health from Johns Hopkins University.

Travis is a citizen Manitoba Metis Federation and currently lives in Washington, D.C.
