Join us for the 10th National Native Languages Summit (NLS) on October 17,2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

This year’s theme, Language Sovereignty: Native Language and Self-Determination focuses on the pillars of the 10 Year National Plan on Native Language Revitalization  (PDF), as well as highlight important language work being done by our community partners.   The Summit will support the work underway to retain and revitalize Indigenous languages. 

The NLS is committed to supporting the integration of Native language instruction into all aspects of education and beyond while strengthening community support for Native languages.

We are thankful to gather again and share the challenges and paths to success in teaching Native languages within our communities.
