The Native American Languages Summit is one of the collaborative activities of the Administration of Native Americans (ANA), the Bureau of Indian Education, and Department of Education Association under the Interagency Memorandum of Agreement on Native Languages.

In 2019, we are partnering with National Indian Education Association (NIEA) in honor of their 50th anniversary and long-standing commitment to tribal educational sovereignty and the promotion of Native American languages and culture. The objective of the Summit is to identify successful approaches that bolster language learning within Native communities. There is no fee for registration. The summit will take place at the Minneapolis Convention Center, with opening session on October 8th.

For more information, and to register, visit the NIEA site.
