Brian Marriott

His dynamic projects included advising leaders in the U.S. Congress, White House, and several federal government agencies.

Marriott was a senior advisor at Raptor Strategies, where he led major client campaigns in communications planning, government relations, public affairs, high-impact story placement, and grass roots/coalitions. He counseled clients on navigating their public policy and business agenda through the national media and public/government outreach.

In addition, Marriott has been heavily involved in policy debates and crisis communications campaigns on food safety, the aftermath of 9/11, homeland security, and veterans issues.

Marriott was previously special assistant to Chairmen Michael Powell and Kevin Martin at the Federal Communications Commission and was an integral part of the Bush White House advance office for eight years, political director of Missouri in 2000, and the vice president’s lead advance representative during the 2004 campaign.

Late 2015, Marriott joined the Donald J. Trump for President campaign, serving as political director for Missouri's presidential primary. In 2016, he then served as a senior press advance lead for the campaign and then transitioned to special events for the Presidential Inaugural Committee.

In the Trump administration, Marriott served as the communications lead for the beach head at the Office of Personnel Management before coming to HHS in July 2017.
