RE:  Federal Offset and Pre-Offset Notice Program Fees

NOTE: At the request of the Department of Treasury Bureau of the Fiscal Service (BFS), the fee amounts have been removed. 

Dear Colleague:

We are pleased to announce that both Offset Program and Pre-offset Notice fees will remain unchanged from last year.  For FY 2013, the fee for federal tax refund offsets will continue at $XX.XX per offset.  The fee for administrative offsets will remain at $XX.XX per offset.

For states that have OCSE issue their Pre-Offset Notices, FY 2013 costs will remain at $0.54 per notice.  These costs cover the postage and envelopes, as well as printing, stuffing and mailing.
