RE: Training of Child Support Enforcement Trainers Course
Dear Colleague:
Since 1984, more than a thousand curriculum designers, trainers, and training managers have completed Training of Child Support Enforcement Trainers (TOT), a 4-day course delivered by the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). The enclosed TOT Trainer’s Guide contains a revised curriculum with new case studies that reflect changes in the CSE program, an expanded section on audiovisual equipment that includes items not in existence 15 years ago, and updated exercises.
The TOT course continues to use the 5-D Training Process, a model systemic approach for diagnosing the training need; designing, developing, and delivering the course; and determining the difference (evaluation). The intent of the TOT course is to help State CSE agencies improve training capabilities within their organization. Participants who complete the course enhance their training skills and receive the Trainer’s Guide that includes notes, handouts, and exercises.
Sincerely,
Frank Fuentes
