The Insurance Match (IM) Workgroup is comprised of representatives from the insurance industry, State Child Support Enforcement (CSE) Agencies and the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE). The minutes summarize decisions and discussions from the meeting held on July 11, 2006 including:

  • Present an overview on the history of the Child Support Program, covering all of the systems managed by the Federal Parent Locator Service (FPLS)
  • Present the history and current process of the Insurance Service Office (ISO) match with the Child Support Lien Network (CSLN)
  • Review the legislation pertaining to the Insurance Match
  • Discuss the misuse of data, uniformity, clearly defined business and data requirements, use of SSNs, insurance industry outreach, and difference between claims and benefits regarding the centralized data match
