Acting Assistant Secretary's remarks recognizing National Human Trafficking Awareness Day at the Dept. of Homeland Security Anti-Trafficking Stakeholder Event.

The National Human Trafficking Resource Center has made it easier and safer for victims of trafficking to seek help.

Human trafficking is very real, and it affects vulnerable people in rural and urban areas across our country.

Human trafficking is tied with the illegal arms trade as the second largest criminal industry in the world after drug dealing.

We need to learn more in order to do more.

The Administration for Children and Families celebrates its 25th Anniversary.

In 2008, the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation (ASPE) sponsored a national symposium focused on the health needs of human trafficking victims. This event brought together health care professionals, federal employees, and anti-trafficking advocates to discuss how best to identify victims in health care settings and ways that the health care system can provide improved and effective services to this population.
