The PII-TTAP team provides training and technical assistance to support the PII grantees in better meeting the needs of children and families by developing/adapting, implementing, and scaling up interventions in child welfare. PII-TTAP accomplishes this by providing innovative yet practical training and technical assistance; building capacity for implementation within PII grantee organizations through knowledge dissemination; developing tools for effective application and transfer of implementation best practices; and actively coordinating and collaborating in implementation and evaluation activities.
The PII approach integrates the tenets of implementation science and program evaluation into a coordinated framework to support and evaluate this initiative. This report describes this collaborative approach to implementation and evaluation that is currently underway.
