The PII-TTAP team provides training and technical assistance to support the PII grantees in better meeting the needs of children and families by developing/adapting, implementing, and scaling up interventions in child welfare. PII-TTAP accomplishes this by providing innovative yet practical training and technical assistance; building capacity for implementation within PII grantee organizations through knowledge dissemination; developing tools for effective application and transfer of implementation best practices; and actively coordinating and collaborating in implementation and evaluation activities.

The Evaluation Team (ET), overseen by the Office of Planning, Research & Evaluation, is charged with designing and carrying out a cross-site evaluation and rigorous, grantee-specific evaluations. PII-ET examines the implementation and effectiveness of the evidence-supported interventions developed and adapted under PII.

An overivew of the Permanency Innovations Initiative (PII) cross-site evaluation which investigates the implementation of interventions designed to reduce long-term foster care and the effectiveness of those interventions to do so across the grantees.
