This Program Instruction provides instruction on some of the changes to the title IV-E plan requirements, effective September 29, 2015 and later, as a result of the Preventing Sex Trafficking and Strengthening Families Act.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides information for states and tribes who request FFP for costs associated with an automated data processing project covering one or more of the human services programs established by the Social Security Act. This addresses the use of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software applications by these agencies, including purchased, leased and hosted proprietary software products and software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides instructions to tribal title IV-E agencies administering or supervising the administration of title IV-E under sections 479B and 471(a) of the Act on the title IV-E prevention program requirements.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides guidance to Indian Tribes, Indian Tribal Organizations and Indian Tribal Consortia (hereafter “tribes,” unless otherwise noted) on actions they are required to take to receive their allotments for Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 (subject to the availability of appropriations) authorized under title IV-B, subparts 1 and 2, and Chafee and ETV programs.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides guidance to state, territorial and tribal title IV-E agencies on the actions required to apply for title IV-B, subpart 2 funding to support the development, enhancement or evaluation of kinship navigator programs.

The purpose of this Program Instruction (PI) is to: (1) set forth the requirements for recipients of Community-Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect awards for FY 2020; and (2) provide guidance and instructions for the preparation and submission of the application and annual reports.

The purpose of this Program Instruction (PI) is to set forth the eligibility requirements and grant application procedures for the State CIP grant for FY 2024, including updating the five-year strategic plan, and to provide guidance on the requirements for state courts to continuously assess and improve the handling of court proceedings related to child welfare and enhance collaboration with title IV-B/IV-E agencies and Tribes.
