This Program Instruction (PI) transmits summary Data Component Submission for 1997, including Data Reporting Requirements Associated with the Child Abuse and Neglect State Grant under the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA).

This Program Instruction (PI) provides instruction to States on the June 30, 1999 Submission of: (1) the Child and Family Services Plan Final Report required for title IV-B of the Social Security Act (the Act); (2) the Fiscal Year 2000–2004 Child and Family Services Plan; (3) the CFS-101, Annual Budget Request and Annual Summary of Child and Family Services; (4) the Child Abuse and Neglect State Plan; and (5) the application for the Independent Living program (optional).
