this Program Instruction (PI) is to disseminate the revised Title IV-E Foster Care Eligibility Review Guide, reflecting changes in title IV-E eligibility requirements enacted through the Family First Prevention Services Act of 2018 (the Family First Act).  

This Program Instruction sets forth the requirements for recipients of Community-Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect awards for FY 2023; and (2) provide guidance and instructions for the preparation and submission of the application and annual reports.

The purpose of this PI is to set forth the eligibility requirements and the grant application
procedures for FY 2023 Children’s Justice Act (CJA) grants and to provide the tentative State
allocation table.

The purpose of this Program Instruction (PI) is to set forth the eligibility requirements and grant application procedures for the State CIP grant for FY 2024, including updating the five-year strategic plan, and to provide guidance on the requirements for state courts to continuously assess and improve the handling of court proceedings related to child welfare and enhance collaboration with title IV-B/IV-E agencies and Tribes.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides guidance to Indian Tribes, Indian Tribal Organizations and Indian Tribal Consortia (hereafter “tribes,” unless otherwise noted) on actions they are required to take to receive their allotments authorized under title IV-B, subparts 1 and 2, and Chafee and ETV programs for Federal Fiscal Year (FY) 2024 (subject to the availability of appropriations).

This Program Instruction (PI) provides guidance to states, territories, and insular areas (hereafter “states,” unless otherwise noted) on actions they are required to take to receive their allotments for Federal Fiscal Year (FY)1 2024 (subject to the availability of appropriations) authorized under title IV-B, subparts 1 and 2, section 106 of CAPTA, Chafee and ETV programs.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides guidance to state, territorial and tribal title IV-E agencies on the actions required to apply for title IV-B, subpart 2 funding to support the development, enhancement or evaluation of kinship navigator programs.  These are federal fiscal year (FY) 2022 funds, provided in P.L. 117-103, Division H of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022, enacted March 15, 2022.
