This report provides information about state programs receiving assistance under Section 106 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA) and the federal training and technical assistance states receive to help them achieve the desired program improvements specified in their CAPTA and other federally mandated plans.

This Program Instruction (PI) sets forth the requirements for recipients of Community-Based Grants for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect awards for FFY 2018; and provides guidance and instructions for the preparation and submission of the application.

This Program Instruction (PI) provides guidance to states, territories, and insular areas (hereafter “states,” unless otherwise noted) on actions they are required to take to receive their allotments for federal fiscal year (FY) 2019 (subject to the availability of appropriations) authorized under title IV-B, subparts 1 and 2, section 106 of CAPTA, CFCIP and ETV programs.

This checklist was developed to ensure that APSR submissions include all required elements. States can use this checklist as a guide in writing their 2018 APSR and CAPTA update.
