This Information Memorandum (IM) strongly encourages all child welfare agencies and Children’s Bureau (CB) grantees to work together with the courts and other appropriate public and private agencies and partners to plan, implement and maintain integrated primary prevention networks and approaches to strengthen families and prevent maltreatment and the unnecessary removal of children from their families.
This guide offers an up-to-date list of resources that can be used to inform and enhance the evaluations of child welfare initiatives funded through the Children’s Bureau discretionary grant program. It also serves as a general resource for researchers and evaluators in a range of health and human service fields. Resources included in the guide cover topics such as evaluation design, data collection and analysis, and reporting and using evaluation findings.

The previous webinar on implementing a cloud computing strategy for child welfare information systems received very positive feedback and while it provided valuable information, there was insufficient time to fully explore all the issues.
