Today’s child welfare workforce has high expectations and needs for mobile applications that allow it to complete key functions quickly and accurately in whichever location their work takes them. This webinar presents the work of two States: Missouri and Massachusetts. Tomy Abraham, director of business applications for the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families, traces the state’s enterprise-wide experience after its mobile deployment program rollout. Leanne Leason, the manager of the Missouri Department of Social Services Family and Children Electronic System (FACES), then presents the State’s FACES mobility project. She also discusses the challenges and rewards of this work and highlights some unanticipated benefits. The webinar discusses technological challenges that organizations face in providing a completely mobile experience to their workforces. It also demonstrates how user expectations impact and shape enterprise strategy and technology environments.

This webinar was facilitated by Joyce Rose, a consultant to ICF.
