OCSE-75 Form — Proposed Draft with track changes

Dear Colleague:

This letter is an invitation to tribal leaders to engage in written consultation concerning proposed revisions to the form OCSE-75, Tribal Child Support Enforcement Annual Data Report. Your comprehensive tribal child support program uses form OCSE-75 to report certain statistical and financial information to the Office of Child Support Enforcement (OCSE) each year. OCSE has authority to establish regulations to request this information under 42 U.S.C. 655(f). Federal regulations at 45 CFR 309.170(b) lists the information that tribes are required to report.

In response to a request from tribal directors and recognizing the form’s expiration date in 2023, we recently convened a work group of tribal child support directors and OCSE staff to discuss the current OCSE-75 form. We shared information and gathered feedback from these tribal directors on proposed changes. Additionally, the tribal directors in the work group solicited feedback from the remaining tribal child support directors.

Attached is a draft of the proposed form and instructions, and a handout that highlights the proposed changes. The current form and instructions are available at https://www.acf.hhs.gov/css/form/form-ocse-75-tribal-annual-data-report-form-and-instructions. We encourage you to comment on the changes to both the form and the instructions. Please note that the revisions to the form do not require any changes to the tribal child support regulations.

OCSE is committed to effective and meaningful consultation with the tribes. Please send your written comments and recommendations to Melissa Johnson at the address below or by email to OCSE.Tribal@acf.hhs.gov by September 24, 2021.
