SUBJECT: Administrative Subpoena and Notice of Lien Forms - Expire July 31, 2021

ACTION REQUIRED: The federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approved the Interstate Administrative Subpoena form and instructions and Notice of Interstate Lien form and instructions (OMB No. 0970-0152). A workgroup made up of state experts was formed to make the changes to the forms. These forms are used in interstate case processing. The new expiration date is July 31, 2021.

According to procedures under the Paperwork Reduction Act, all federal forms must be reviewed at least every three years. As part of this process, the Administration for Children and Families published a 60-day Federal Register public notice on November 16, 2017 (82 FR 53504) and a 30-day public notice on March 22, 2018 (83 FR 12581) soliciting comments on the forms and their associated user burden.
