SUBJECT: Compliance with Medical Support Final Rule Requirements
OCSE rescinds AT-10-02, which held states harmless of penalties for failure to comply with the 2008 Medical Support Final Rule requirements. States should review their laws, rules, and policies to ensure compliance with the requirements disseminated under AT-08-08 and AT-16-06. OCSE will continue to work with states on issues regarding medical support enforcement.
ACTION REQUIRED: States must comply with the Medical Support Final Rule and the Flexibility, Efficiency, and Modernization in Child Support Enforcement Programs Final Rule in accordance with AT-08-08 and AT-16-06, respectively.
