States are required to submit the Annual Certification Letter to the federal Office of Child Support Enforcement. The certification letter verifies that your information meets the legal requirements for federal offset, passport denial, multistate financial institution data match, and federal insurance match. It also indicates your preferences regarding mailing pre-offset notices, holding periods, and contact information.
The attachment requires your signature as IV-D Director (or your designee). Please send the signed letter on your state’s official letterhead to the Federal Collections Team at firstname.lastname@example.org no later than September 29, 2017.
