Final Impact Findings from CSPED: Technical Supplement Report

Published: March 1, 2019

This report is a technical supplement to the CSPED Final Impact Report. CSPED was an eight-state demonstration of child support-led employment programs for noncustodial parents behind in their child support sponsored by OCSE, which operated from 2012 to 2017. The aim of these programs was to provide a package of services that would enable noncustodial parents to be more financially and emotionally involved in their children’s lives. The package of services included enhanced child support services, case management, employment services, and parenting classes. CSPED was evaluated using random assignment. The technical supplement to the CSPED Final Impact Report provides detailed information about the CSPED evaluation design, its data sources and analytic methods, and the construction of outcome variables. It also provides additional impact findings by grantee.

This report is not an OCSE publication. The Institute for Research on Poverty at the University of Wisconsin, Madison produced this report under contract to the State of Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, with funds from the CSPED evaluation grant awarded by OCSE to the state. This brief is in the public domain. Permission to reproduce is not necessary.
