The Interstate Case Reconciliation (ICR) is being modified to perform matching against the Federal Case Registry (FCR) for those cases for which the ICR cannot find a matching case in another state's extract file. If a matching case is found on the FCR, the ICR will notify both states of the match.
This enhancement is referred to as the ICR-FCR Supplemental Match. Adding this automated process at the federal level will help states work those ‘unfound’ cases (i.e., cases that received a Reason Code of '01'), which have proven to be the most difficult and labor intensive to reconcile.
