Insurance Match Release 10-01 Minor: Specifications

Implementation Date: May 7, 2010

Publication Date: February 8, 2010
Current as of:

The Insurance Match Program has been enhanced to internally alter the insurer Social Security number (SSN) by replacing each digit of the SSN and transposing each pair of digits to determine if a match can be made to the obligor SSN. The SSN comparison is done using the result of this process. As a result of this change, one of the following codes will be returned in the obligor match code (next to each code is the criterion that matched in the record comparison) if the process is successful:

  • 11 - Name, Date of Birth (DOB) and altered insurer SSN
  • 12 - Name, Address and altered insurer SSN
  • 13 - Name, Address, DOB and altered insurer SSN
