Description

Join a panel of states as they share how they developed innovative family engagemet and leadership programs.  They will discuss successes, challenges, resources and what they would do differently.  After the panel participants will engage in tabletop dicussions on how to incorporate shared strategies and resources, including surveys, protocols and family engagement frameworks in their states.

The PDG B-5 TA Center recognizes the critical impact of family engagement. This session will help participants gain knowledge on recruitment, selection, and engagement of families. Join this working session to start developing a plan to engage families in your state. The discussion will include factors to consider when developing your recruitment and selection plan, keeping families engaged, and helping them develop as leaders.
