FAQs on Allowable Use of FVPSA Funds During the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency

The Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) Program has received many questions regarding the allowable use of FVPSA funding to meet the needs of domestic violence survivors and their children during the COVID-19 public health emergency. This FAQ is intended to answer basic questions regarding allowable uses of FVPSA funds for addressing basic needs and providing rental assistance, hotel, motel, utilities, and moving costs. If there are additional questions, please direct all inquiries to your organization’s assigned Grants Management Specialist and FVPSA Project Officer.
