This page outlines new FVPSA ARP Grant-funded initiatives and special projects affecting tribes and tribal organizations, such as the Indigenous Safe Housing Center (STTARS).

This National Indigenous Women's Resource Center (NIWRC) initiative focuses on working towards a vision of "Safe Housing for All Our Relatives through providing training and technical assistance in meeting the housing needs of Indian (including Alaska Natives) and Native Hawaiian survivors living in tribal communities. Additionally, the newly established Indigenous Safe Housing Center addresses the intersection of housing instability/homelessness and domestic violence by meeting the needs of domestic violence survivors in tribal communities, including homeless youth survivors, and support the development of collaboration between service organizations, technical assistance providers, and tribal, federal, state, and local governmental organizations to address these identified needs.
Feel free to view their Indigenous Safe Housing Center launch webinar below to learn more about the Center and the existing workgroup, their approach to the work, upcoming events, and activities, and to request training and technical assistance.
