This webinar, recorded August 20, 2020, features a live panel discussion on how to use data to measure social capital and build connections for vulnerable youth. 

This toolkit was developed by and for advocates in the runaway and homeless youth (RHY) and domestic and sexual assault (DV/SA) fields to help programs better address relationship violence with runaway and homeless youth. The Toolkit organizes information, resources, tips and tools drawn from the lessons learned by collaborative projects funded by the Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) that brought together domestic violence programs and runaway and homeless youth agencies to address relationship violence among street youth.

October 2018 is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). During DVAM, victim advocates, allied professionals, survivors of abuse, their loved ones, and the surrounding community come together to mourn the lives lost to domestic violence, celebrate the progress that has been made to end this epidemic, and connect with others working to create change. 

August 12 is International Youth Day, and the United Nations offers information and resources.

February is national Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month. FYSB’s Family Violence Prevention and Services Program is proud to support the many events hosted by our grantees and partners this year by presenting public awareness campaigns, webinars, social media events, and radio shows that highlight healthy relationships.

As part of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), the Family Violence Prevention and Services Program joins with its grantees and federal partners to offer a wide range of domestic violence awareness month educational events and activities. We invite you to join us in building awareness and taking action around ending domestic violence.

This memo highlights the potential role of financial capability services in domestic violence economic advocacy and provides information about financial capability resources that can be used to enhance programming on behalf of families impacted by domestic violence.
