As PREP grantees, you do important work to serve youth in the community every day, but are you also communicating about the work you are doing and sharing your successes to ensure that others know about your efforts?

FYSB sponsored a Medical Accuracy Review (MAR) webinar for PREIS and TPREP grantees. The webinar provided and overview of the MAR process and outlined the requirements. The webinar was held on March 21, 2017.

With the theme "Building Community, Building Hope," we recognize that child abuse and neglect is a complex issue that requires all communities to respond in order to give hope to children and families.

The most recent data from the Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance (YRBS) survey indicate that there has been a dramatic decline in the proportion of high school students who have had sex in the last two years—declining from 47% in 2013 to 41% in 2015.

In February 2017, APP grantees participated in an exciting and interactive simulation training on systems change.

The 2016 HHS Teen Pregnancy Prevention Conference took place in Baltimore, MD, on July 19-21, 2016. This year’s conference, Connecting the Dots: Collaborating to Achieve Lasting Impacts for Youth, invited federally funded teen pregnancy prevention (TPP) and adolescent sexual health grantees to share ideas and lessons learned from their own programs, particularly as they relate to reaching vulnerable youth.

This webinar, recorded August 20, 2020, features a live panel discussion on how to use data to measure social capital and build connections for vulnerable youth. 

These programs have been shown to reduce teen pregnancy, STIs, and associated sexual risk behaviors.

Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention grantees may obtain training and technical assistance through RTI International and Mathematica Policy Research.
