The National Domestic Violence Hotline, funded by FYSB, is a compassionate, knowledgeable resource focused on shifting power back to those experiencing domestic or dating violence through human connection and practical help every day of the year.
FVPSA formula grants are distributed through states and territories then provided through a sub-awardee process to local public, private, nonprofit, and faith-based organizations to provide shelter and non-residential supportive services to individuals experiencing domestic violence and their children. All federally recognized tribes are eligible to apply for FVPSA Tribal Formula grants.
October 2018 is Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). During DVAM, victim advocates, allied professionals, survivors of abuse, their loved ones, and the surrounding community come together to mourn the lives lost to domestic violence, celebrate the progress that has been made to end this epidemic, and connect with others working to create change.
