The Family and Youth Services Bureau’s Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) Program announces the launch of the StrongHearts Native Helpline (StrongHearts) on March 6, 2017.

This training includes two curricula: one for disaster response and preparedness personnel and one for domestic violence programs. Both trainings focus on protocols and referral procedures, accessing domestic violence services, recognizing the warning signs of domestic violence, safety planning, and maintaining ongoing health and wellness initiatives during the crisis response and recovery phase.

This 1-hour interactive eLearning module presents evidence linking intimate partner violence with women's risk of becoming infected with HIV, and discusses the impact of intimate partner violence on the lives of women living with HIV.

This toolkit aims to help health care providers and advocates learn more about how to help women be healthy and safe.
