The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) issued this joint letter to remind recipients of federal financial assistance that they should not withhold certain services based on immigration status when the services are necessary to protect life or safety. FYSB's Runaway and Homeless Youth (RHY) program awarded Maternity Group Homes for Pregnant and Parenting Youth (MGH) grants for FY2019. The MGH program supports homeless pregnant and/or parenting young people, as well as their dependent children. Youth must be between the ages of 16 and 22 to enter the program.

“Locate a Teen Pregnancy Prevention Trainer” is a database of the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) grantees that provide training for facilitators and trainers in the 35 evidence-based curricula approved by HHS.

The Family & Youth Services Bureau (FYSB), Runaway & Homeless Youth (RHY) Program, is actively recruiting new reviewers to support the evaluation of federal grant applications submitted for the Street Outreach Program (SOP). Through the SOP, FYSB supports work with homeless, runaway, street youth and possibly youth exposed to human trafficking, to help them find stable housing and services.

The Evaluation of Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Approaches (PPA) is an experimental study focused on assessing the implementation and impacts of innovative strategies and untested approaches for preventing teenage pregnancy. 

The purpose of the general departmental funded Sexual Risk Avoidance Education (SRAE) Program (GD-SRAE) is to fund projects that exclusively implement sexual risk avoidance education that teaches youth how to voluntarily refrain from non-marital sexual activity.
