A Snapshot of the PREP Performance Measures Report to Congress

In January 2015, ACF gave Congress a report about the progress of PREP programs across the nation. The reporting period for the report was August 1, 2013, through July 31, 2014. This brief summarizes the findings. Readers can learn about the following:

  • Program attendance.
  • Reach.
  • Dosage (how many sessions youth attend).
  • Percentage of youth served by evidence-based programs.
  • Percentage of programs in which the majority of youth were from a highly vulnerable group.
  • Percentage of youth who said being involved in the PREP program made them feel prepared for adulthood.
