In a recent Dear Colleague letter, Children's Bureau shared its contribution to support the Family First Prevention Services Act and its Title IV-E Prevention Plan. The Administration for Children and Families celebrated the 5-year anniversary of the Family First Prevention Services Act, which provides vital resources to help keep families together, with an event in March. The event featured HHS leadership; members of Congress; staff from national, state, and tribal agencies and organizations; and more.

When working to improve program outcomes, it is important for child welfare agencies to collect and use SOGIE (sexual orientation, gender identity, and expression) data to gain a more in-depth understanding of the children, youth, and families they serve.
